Two men who are dead after an off-road vehicle crashed head on into a pickup Sunday afternoon in Ellis County. 

Crews fought several wildfires on Saturday in central Oklahoma. Fire officials said wind and dry conditions made the flames difficult to control. 

A K-9 officer was shot and badly injured during this weekend’s standoff in Ellis County. Ellis County deputy Dave Thomas was also shot in the leg.

The shooting of an Ellis county sheriff's deputy leads to a nine-hour standoff then ends with a deadly fire. Two firefighters pulled the deputy to safety and the suspect is believed dead.

Freezing rain will continue falling in Northwest Oklahoma Sunday morning, likely leading to more power outages and downed tree limbs, power lines.

As many as 50 crews from three states have joined the fight in Beaver County as a wildfire has doubled in size to 4-miles wide in just a few hours.
